Fire in the Belly is six days of confronting and unearthing what has been running your life beneath the surface, healing the wounds that keep you bound to old beliefs and behaviors, and meticulously practicing a new way of seeing, believing, and being until you begin to embody the man you know yourself capable of becoming.
Through guided shadow work, deep relational work, embodiment, meditation, breathwork, and sacred ceremony, you will enter into a radical experience and the art of the deep masculine.
This retreat brings together a unique synergy of over 40 years and multiple traditions in the extraordinary power of conscious brotherhood.

- Emotional Capacity / Intelligence Work: Individual and group practices for working with grief, anger, shame, fear, desire, and the emotions beneath reactivity. You learn to feel and express what is there, build the capacity to stay with intensity, and integrate it into how you relate and lead.
- Power of Sound, Music & Mantra Chanting: Drumming, toning, chant, group rhythm practices, and movement.

Retreat Information
Dates: Sunday November 8, 2026 – November 14, 2026
The cost for the week will range from $ 2550 to $ 3000. The deposit is $ 1500.

Cuisine – Fresh, prepared in open air kitchen, mostly organic, vegetarian with some raw food and fish or chicken available. Prepared with LOVE by the staff of Pura Vida. Smoothies also available.
Location – this program will be held at the Pura Vida retreat center in Yelapa, Mexico. Yelapa is rare jewel, truly a place of natural beautiful, raw nature, where the river meets the sea. A one hour boat ride from ( south) of Puerto Vallarta (there are no cars in Yelapa).
You need a valid passport for Mexico. And for most places no visa is needed but please check with your local Consulate.
Arrival + Departure:
Fly into Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR.
From the airport, it will take a short taxi ridetos pier, and from there, to the Los Muer you will take a water taxi ride to Yelapa.
Arrival on November 9th. We will begin with dinner at 7pm and evening circle.
You may arrive earlier, it may be possible to stay at the retreat center. Please inquire for details.
Program ends late morning on Nov 15.
For the arrival flight, try to arrive before 4 p.m. and depart after 12 p.m. These are just suggestions to make travel to and from the retreat center easier.
You can also arrive a day or two early and stay a day or two after. Please check with the retreat center for availability.
The prices below include 6 nights’ accommodation, all meals { except 1 meal in town}, a full program of classes, a temescal fire ceremony, and a group excursion boat ride.

- No Refund Policy: As the retreat date is approaching and due to the limited availability, we have a strict no-refund policy once registration is complete. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, so we are open to considering requests on a case-by-case basis.
- Private Rooms: Private rooms are on a waitlist. If you’re interested, please sign up for double occupancy, and you’ll be added to the waitlist. We’re doing our best to accommodate everyone who requests a private room.
- Partial scholarships are available for men who want to join us and are experiencing financial difficulties.
